Tourism is a wide range of
tourist activities and supported a wide range of facilities and services
provided by the public, employers, the Government, and Local Government and
Tourism is the overall activities related to tourism and is multidimensional and
multidisciplinary emerging as a manifestation of everyone's needs and the state
as well as interactions between tourists and local communities, fellow
tourists, Government, Local Government, and employers.
In Indonesia, tourism is an
important economic sector. In 2009, tourism ranks third in terms of foreign
exchange earnings after oil, and gas and palm oil. Based on 2010 data, the
number of foreign tourists coming to Indonesia amounted to 7 million, an increase
of 10.74% over the previous year, and contributed to the country's foreign
exchange amounted to 7603.45 million US dollars.
Natural and cultural resources is
an important component of tourism in Indonesia. Indonesia has a combination of
natural tropical climate, pulauyang 17,508 6,000 of which are inhabited, and
the third longest coastline in the world after Canada and the European Union.
Indonesia is also the largest and most populous island in the world. The
beaches in Bali, dive sites in Bunaken, Mount Rinjani in Lombok, and various
national parks in Sumatra is an example of natural tourist destination in
Indonesia. Tourist attractions that are supported by a rich cultural heritage
that reflects the history and ethnic diversity of Indonesia dynamic with 719
local languages are spoken throughout the islands.
However, unfortunately, the
government is thinking about the economy away from tourism has provided foreign
exchange for the country, do not think about morality and customs, whereas one
of the principles of tourism is "upholding the religious norms and
cultural values as the embodiment of the concept of life in the balance of
the relationship between man and God
The Almighty, the relationship
between man and his fellow man, and the relationship between humans and the
environment and upholding human rights, cultural diversity, and local wisdom.
"
Plus another that obligation
tourists that one of them is "to maintain and respect the religious norms,
customs, culture, and values that live in the local community" (article
25 of Law No. 10 Th 2009) and "Every tourist who does not comply with the
provisions referred to in Article 25, subject to sanctions in the form of
verbal warning accompanied by a notice regarding the things that must be met
(article 62 of Law no 10 th 2009)
But the fact is, whether tourists
are already maintaining and respecting norms, religion, customs, culture and
values in society? And whether the government has given a warning to
travelers sanctions against not respecting norms, religion, customs, culture
and values in society? The answer is not yet.
One example that tourists do not
respect the norms, religion, customs, culture and values in society is using
to wear a bikini on the beach? kissing on the roadside? Whether it is in
accordance with the norms, religious, cultural mores and values in society?
NO, then, does it give a warning to travelers sanctions? NO.
So it is natural that the norms,
religion, customs, culture, and values in society have started to fade, and
it is natural also our country is still on the runway, still swirling and left
on the runway because we no longer has identity.
If we look at the Asian countries
memeprtahankan native cultures: China, Japan, India, Korea and even Thailand.
In 50-60 years after independence, or after free from foreign influence, these
nations are already taking off
